A Better Way To Manage Your Google Ads

When most attorneys setup their pay per click (PPC) ads on Google they normally log in to their Adwords account online using their web browser.  With the recent changes Google has made to the online interface to Adwords, it’s easy to manage your PPC ads and run reports.  What if you needed to work on or create many new ads or keywords?  The online interface for Adwords can become quite overwhelming.

I present to you the tool that I use for all of my Adwords management – The Google Adwords Editor.

The Google Adwords Editor is a powerful tool that you can run on your desktop to work quickly and easily with many ads and keywords all at once.

This tool is also great for those that might not always have internet access.  You can manage all of your campaigns offline and then upload the changes as soon as you have an internet connection.  However, the main reason that I utilize the Google Adwords Editor is because it allows me to make batch changes to my ppc campaigns.  I can copy and paste ads to easily modify them for split testing (don’t worry, I’ll be explaining split testing ads in a future article),  I can make mass changes to my keyword bids, and a whole lot more with this light weight utility.

All of this might be impressive, but I think the best selling point of the utility is that Google made it 100% free to use and since it is a Google created utility you don’t have to worry about it not being compatible with Adwords whenever they change the code.

When I write about PPC management here in the Lawyer Resource Center, I will be giving instructions based on using the Adwords Editor so I highly recommend that if you are going to manage your own PPC campaign that you do yourself a huge favor and download the Adwords Editor today.  Check out the links below for more information (and download location from Google).
